Let’s redesign the worldFranco RotellaPalizzi Garden intended neither as a sum of emotions and feelings, nor as a pleasure of shapes, colours, scents, moodsnor as a combination of sounds returned by leaves rustling while caressed by a cheeky wind, nor a shadows that seem to retain the ghosts from the forgotten glamorous past.A garden made of silence, of analyses respectful of the shapes to steal intriguing signs that a nature forgottem by the majority has in store for us and keeps as well.The lens of a nosy digital camera creeps into an untidy space like a strange tiff between the learned geometry leaves belonging to a tidy and thought out nature and the unpredictable foliage coming from a restless shrub.We must stop the time: images telling us the plot hardly stolen by a leaf that still keeps the last rain drops of the past winter and lights up at the first rays of a sick sun; signs of interwinement among restless branches going with under an indefinite blue sky; a trunk whose cut of distant mind hides a plot that reminds us of a web spun by spider patience; the sinuate structre of a rose proposing itself as a combination of signs elegantly and closely modulating.They will define methods and logics that belong to us, dynamics and colours peculiar to one of our languages, trasparencies, new sintonies, new messages.It is a new way of living our natrure, a new system to read it, to keep it, to decode it, to use it; maybe it is the need to resect it.Istituto d’arte Filippo Palizzi, Naples, Italy; any morning, nine o’ clock.Upon my kind invitation, your obligatory presence requested. Piergiacomo Rameri, student of degree course in Scienze Naturali, together with the students of Arte della Stampa course, at Palizzi Garden.Overall photography, details in macro function.Consciousness in the whole, selection of minimum, of essential one, of one’s own.Multimedia workshop, photoshop and off the background; freehand, species configuration and evolution: a basic design made of signs and colours, blowup, spreading out flats, rotations, stretchouts, reflections; and then photoshop for phantoms, shadings, solarizations, threedimension.Texture into sequences changeable as for dynamics and identities. A catalogue of possibilities, logics, contents, a code of our own for a three-hundred-and-sixty degree intelligent course, from the graphic design to the industrial one, made of signs and drawings, that the nature has in store for a not very attentive man.But there is a different way to live our nature and the students of Federico II University of Naples, degree course in Scienze della Natura, know it very well. Here photography and computer-aided desgn meet within a naturalistic drawing made both of the rigour of the past and the present dynamics.Yesterday the camera lucida, today the multimedia logics.And we can also restart from drawing from life…
For "artistic activity"
I remember Emilio Notte, Armando De Stephen, Raffaele Lippi; they have brought me to go out of the rigorous didactic schemes and to begin a run of search of the dynamic logics of the sign in the space as in "Donna" in the 1963. In the same year in "Summertine" a rare need of three-dimensional physicalness that it remembers the cruel charm of the traces preserved by the worn-out faces by the war of Vietnam. In 1968 a study of the delirious dynamics, stolen at random, from any metropolis. 1969 is devoted to the portrait with "Gaetano", model of the academy' that it preserves the traces of a resignation to the life, marked by paintures of torn red, where the background is synonymous of an invasive violence; then "Giò" with feelings and loves that preserve him inside and "Giorgia" that one day to be a mother that there is not. Then "Ida" that it is invented the delirium of a love that abandons him forever. In "Michela" two eyes that they know about sky pick up the anxieties and the fears, day after day. They are portraits marked by shreds of life that enter and they go out of ethereal bodies that have few of human.
In "Oggi, domani" the end of a run lived almost by chance; the blacks cut the backgrounds as to enter the nothing. 1970, "fuoco", the forms are surrendered to voluptuous dynamics; all knows about a fire that won't succeed in cancelling our being inside.
1970, "ghiaccio", earth unites to the sky in modulations that they know about ice; the last message of life. In "Sommerso" the boundaries of urban extraction wound and harvests in a ruin without time; also the sun is imprisoned of funeral tentacles in a concert of death.
1972 in " Circuito chiuso" the man is an amorphous trace of a pixel that goes out of a cage of austere presence; he kills for serving an unknown wish that has decided for him.
In "Labirinto" there is each of us, the desire to be with the others the conscience to be alone.
1984, "sole nero", a sun that is not expression of life but a sad premonition of death anymore.
1985, "l’aquila delle scimmie", an hypnotic message of two eyes of an intense yellow, the human one and the animal of they meet and they confuse.
1987, the first self-portrait in a virtuous meeting of past nighttime protagonists by chance.
Then "Topo luna"; the moon unites the magic meeting between the body of woman and an unknown presence. In "Vespa", last actor that remembers the life. 1991, "Vesuvio" the tentacles pick up the earth and the water in a project of death.
In 2001 it begins a run of search of conceptual extraction in "Suture" and in "Utopia"; then, in 2004, the demand of a language that succeeds in uniting the inanimate one with the human one in a fragmentation and assumption of details of strong evocative ability as "Percorsi" and “Percorsi e oltre."
In 2007, for Gelsomino d’ Ambrosio, in "Ex libris", the word that becomes sign, the sign that conjugates the rhythm the rhythm that anticipates the emotion.
2008, "L’ultimo segno dell’amore" it is the trace of someone that we have preserved inside and that it is destined to die.
2013, return the need to enter, to decode the nature the ability to be form in extreme dynamics; we find "Flussi sole nero ", Flussi, urlo", "Flussi", Flussi catarsi"; the description and the runs of the flows of energy that draw the emotions, the constructive logics, the harmonies, the discrasies, the violences of every presence.
